Abstract

DESCRIPTION OF THE SELF-EFFICIENCY OF BREASTFEEDING MOTHERS IN FEEDING BREAST MILK TO INFANTS AGED 0-6 MONTHS ATPUSKESMAS III NORTH DENPASAR YEAR 2023 ABSTRACT Data in Indonesia according to UNICEF in 2022 almost half of all children do not get the ASI they need during the first two years of life. The cause of low breastfeeding is influenced by the lack of self-efficacy of breastfeeding mothers. Mothers who have high self-confidence will influence the success of breastfeeding so that it is necessary to pay attention to the self-efficacy of breastfeeding mothers. The purpose of this study was to determine the self-efficacy of breastfeeding mothers in breastfeeding infants aged 0-6 months at Puskesmas III North Denpasar in 2023. This research method used a quantitative descriptive method with a cross-sectional approach to a population of 123 mothers breastfeeding infants aged 0-6 month, with a sample of 55 respondents using a purposive sampling technique. The type of data is primary data which is done by filling out a questionnaire. The results showed the self-efficacy of breastfeeding mothers in breastfeeding infants aged 0-6 months at Puskesmas III North Denpasar in 2023 with a low majority of 32 people (58.2%), and a high of 23 people (41.8%). It can be concluded that this study shows the lack of awareness of mothers in giving ASI. Mothers are expected to be able to fulfill their child's milk on time by increasing the mother's self-efficacy Keywords: Self-Efficacy, Breastfeeding Mothers, Infants Aged 0-6 Months GAMBARAN EFIKASI DIRI IBU MENYUSUI DALAM PEMBERIAN ASI PADA BAYI USIA 0-6 BULAN DI PUSKESMAS III DENPASAR UTARA TAHUN 2023 ABSTRAK Data di Indonesia menurut UNICEF tahun 2022 hampir setengah dari seluruh anak tidak mendapatkan asupan ASI yang mereka butuhkan selama dua tahun pertama kehidupan. Penyebab rendahnya pemberian ASI dipengaruhi oleh kurangnya efikasi diri ibu menyusui. Ibu yang mempunyai keyakinan diri yang tinggi akan berpengaruh pada keberhasilan pemberian ASI sehingga perlu adanya perhatian terhadap efikasi diri Ibu menyusui. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui efikasi diri ibu menyusui dalam pemberian ASI pada bayi usia 0-6 bulan Di Puskesmas III Denpasar Utara Tahun 2023. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional populasi sebanyak 123 ibu menyusui bayi usia 0-6 bulan, dengan sempel sebanyak 55 responden menggunakan teknik sampel secara purposive sampling. Jenis data berupa data primer yang dilkukan dengan pengisian kuesioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan efikasi diri ibu menyusui dalam pemberian ASI pada bayi usia 0-6 bulan Di Puskesmas III Denpasar Utara Tahun 2023 dengan mayoritas rendah sebanyak 32 orang (58,2%), dan tinggi sebanyak 23 orang (41,8%). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa penelitian ini menunjukkan kurangnya kesadaran ibu dalam memberikan ASI. Bagi ibu diharapkan untuk mampu memenuhi ASI anaknya hingga tepat pada waktunya dengan meningkatkan efikasi diri ibu Kata Kunci : Efikasi Diri, Ibu Menyusui, Bayi Usia 0-6 Bulan
