Abstract

RELATIONSHIP WITH ACTIVITY DAILY LIVING (ADL) WITH QUALITY OF LIFE IN STROKE PATIENTS TABANAN REGIONAL PUBLIC HOSPITAL IN 2023 ABSTRACT Based on Riskesdas 2018, stroke affects millions of people worldwide which results in 5 million deaths each year. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between Activity Daily Living (ADL) and the Quality of Life of Stroke Patients at Tabanan General Hospital. The type of research used is correlation analytic research with a cross sectional approach. Respondents in this study were 46 stroke patients. This study used a nonparametric statistical test, namely the Spearman's rank test. The results showed that the average age of the respondents in this study was 67 years. The majority of respondents in this study were male as many as 24 respondents (52.2%) and female as many as 22 respondents (47.8%). The majority of respondents had Activity Daily Living (ADL) with total dependency category, namely 29 respondents or 63.0% and the quality of life of stroke patients at Tabanan Hospital had less quality of life as many as 29 people or 63%. The Spearman's rank test results obtained a p-value = 0.000 (p = 0.000 <0.05) which means the hypothesis is accepted so it can be concluded that there is a relationship between Activity Daily Living (ADL) and the Quality of Life of Stroke Patients at Tabanan Hospital in 2023. Keywords: Activity Daily Living, Quality of Life, Stroke HUBUNGAN ACTIVITY DAILY LIVING (ADL) DENGAN KUALITAS HIDUP PASIEN STROKE DI RUMAH SAKIT UMUM DAERAH TABANAN TAHUN 2023 ABSTRAK Berdasarkan Riskesdas 2018 stroke mempengaruhi jutaan orang di seluruh dunia yang mengakibatkan 5 juta kematian setiap tahunnya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan Activity Daily Living (ADL) dengan Kualitas Hidup Pasien Stroke di RSUD Tabanan. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian analitik korelasi dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Responden pada penelitian ini sebanyak 46 pasien stroke. penelitian ini menggunakan uji statistik nonparametric yaitu uji Spearman’s rank. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan rata-rata usia responden pada penelitian ini adalah 67 tahun. Mayoritas responden penelitian ini berjenis kelamin laki-laki sebanyak 24 responden (52,2%) dan yang berjenis kelamin perempuan sebanyak 22 responden (47,8%). Mayoritas responden memiliki Activity Daily Living (ADL) dengan kategori ketergantungan total yaitu sebanyak 29 responden atau 63,0 % dan kualitas hidup pasien stroke di RSUD Tabanan memiliki kualitas hidup kurang sebanyak 29 orang atau 63%. Hasil uji Spearman’s rank di dapatkan nilai p-value = 0,000 (p = 0,000 < 0,05) yang berarti hipotesis diterima sehingga dapat disimpulkan terdapat hubungan Activity Daily Living (ADL) dengan Kualitas Hidup Pasien Stroke di RSUD Tabanan Tahun 2023.
