Abstract

DESCRIPTION OF QUALITY OF LIFE IN TUBERCULOSIS PATIENTS AT PUSKESMAS II, NORTH DENPASAR, 2023 ABSTRACT One of the supporting factors for the high mortality rate in Indonesia is the infectious disease tuberculosis. TB is an infectious disease caused by bacteria (Mycobacterium tuberculosis) and most often attacks the lungs. TB spreads through the air when people with pulmonary tuberculosis cough, sneeze or spit. Tuberculosis is one of the 10 leading causes of death in the world. This study aims to describe the quality of life of tuberculosis patients at Puskesmas II Denpasar Utara in 2023. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative with a cross-sectional approach regarding the quality of life of tuberculosis patients. The sampling technique used in this study was to use a total sample technique, the population obtained in this study were 17 research samples. The results of this study were that most of the research subjects were aged 41-60 years as many as 8 people (47.1%), male sex as many as 8 people (47.1%) had elementary school education (SD) as many as 6 people. people. people (35.3%) and work as many as 7 people (41.2%) The results of the quality of life after the questionnaire were obtained as many as 12 people (70.6%) who experienced poor quality of life and 5 people (29.4%) who experienced good quality of life Keywords : Quality of Life, Tuberculosis, Mycobacterium Tuberculosis GAMBARAN KUALITAS HIDUP PADA PASIEN TUBERKULOSIS DI PUSKESMAS II DENPASAR UTARA TAHUN 2023 ABSTRAK Salah satu faktor pendukung tingginya angka kematian di Indonesia adalah penyakit menular tuberculosis. TBC merupakan suatu penyakit menular yang disebabkan oleh bakteri (Mycobacterium Tuberculosis) dan paling sering menyerang paru-paru. TBC menyebar melalui udara ketika penderita TBC paru batuk, bersin atau meludah Tuberkulosis merupakan salah satu dari 10 penyakit yang menyebabkan kematian terbesar di dunia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan kualitas hidup pada pasien tuberculosis di Puskesmas II Denpasar Utara Tahun 2023. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross-sectional mengenai kualitas hidup pasien tuberculosis. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan teknik total sampel, populasi yang di dapat pada penelitian ini sebanyak 17 sampel penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu sebagian besar subjek penelitian yang berusia 41-60 tahun sebanyak 8 orang (47,1%), berjenis kelamin laki-laki sebanyak 8 orang (47,1%) berpendidikan sekolah dasar (SD) sebanyak 6 orang (35,3%) dan bekerja sebanyak 7 orang (41,2%) Hasil kualitas hidup setelah dilakukan kuisioner diperoleh sebanyak 12 orang (70,6%) yang mengalami kualitas hidup kurang dan 5 orang (29,4%) yang mengalami kualitas hidup baik Kata Kunci: Kualitas Hidup,Tuberculosis, Mycobacterium Tuberculosis
