Abstract
DESCRIPTION OF URIC ACID LEVELS IN OXYGEN TUBE TRANSPORT WORKERS AT KUBU BEACH, KUBU VILLAGE, KUBU DISTRICT, KARANGASEM DISTRICT ABSTRACT Workers carrying oxygen cylinders at Kubu Beach Doing work for more than 8 hours a day, excessive work can result in more lactic acid production. The result is muscle fatigue and delayed excretion of uric acid. Because of this, workers transporting oxygen cylinders have a higher risk of uric acid in the body. Knowing the characteristics of uric acid levels in workers carrying oxygen cylinders at Kubu Beach is the aim of this research. Random sampling was used to select 55 people transporting oxygen cylinders for the research sample. Research findings showed that the uric acid levels of 55 respondents who were transporting oxygen cylinders at Kubu Beach ranged from 4.0 mg/dL to 8.7 mg/dL; 24 respondents had normal uric acid levels. tall.
