Abstract
RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN FAMILY SUPPORT AND MEDICATION ADHERENCE IN HYPERTENSION PATIENTS AT PUBLIC HEALTH CENTER I WEST DENPASAR IN 2023 ABSTRACT Hypertension is a condition when blood pressure increases, where systolic blood pressure is above 140 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure is above 90 mmHg. Considering that hypertension is a chronic disease with long-term treatment, adherence is very important. One of the factors that can be used as a benchmark in determining the level of patient compliance is family support. This study aims at identifying the relationship between family support and medication adherence in hypertensive patients at Public Health Center I West Denpasar in 2023. The research design was using the cross sectional. A purposive sampling technique was used to select the samples, which are from 76 people. The data collection on family support and medication adherence was using a questionnaire and the Spearman rank correlation test (
