Abstract
THE RELATIONSHIP OF HUSBAND'S SUPPORT TO THE MOTHER'S ATTITUDE IN EXCLUSIVE BREASTFEEDING AT THE REGIONWORK OF PUSKESMAS III NORTH DENPASAR ABSTRACT The coverage rate of exclusive breastfeeding in Indonesia in 2022 is 66% and the coverage of exclusive breastfeeding in the North Denpasar region is recorded at 47.31%, this coverage is still below Indonesia's national target of 80%. The low target coverage of exclusive breastfeeding is due to many factors that affect the attitude of mothers. The formation of maternal attitudes can be stimulated by the support of the husband, maximum support can meet the indicators of attitude formation. This study aims to determine the relationship between husband support for mothers' attitudes in exclusive breastfeeding. This research method is correlation analysis with a cross secstonal approach. The sample of this study amounted to 55 people using the Nonprobability sampling technique with the Purposive sampling method. Data collection instruments using questionnaires. The results showed that most respondents had good support as many as 30 respondents (54.5%) with good maternal attitudes as many as 41 respondents (74.5%). The results of the Spearman Rank correlation test ρ-value = 0.000 (p < 0.05)) and r value = 0.634 which means there is a significant relationship between husband support for maternal attitudes in exclusive breastfeeding in the Puskesmas III area of North Denpasar, with the strength of the relationship is strong, the direction of the relationship in this study is positive, which means that the better the husband's support, the better the mother's attitude in exclusive breastfeeding. Rendahnya target cakupan ASI Eksklusif dikarenakan banyak faktor yang mempengaruhi sikap ibu. Pembentukan sikap ibu dapat di stimulus oleh dukungan suami, dukungan yang maksimal dapat memenuhi indicator pembentukan sikap. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui hubungan dukungan suami terhadap sikap ibu dalam pemberian ASI Eksklusif. Metode penelitian ini yaitu analitik korelasi dengan pendekatan cross secstonal. Sampel penelitian ini berjumlah 55 orang menggunakan teknik sampling Nonprobability sampling dengan metode Purposive sampling. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagain besar responden memiliki dukungan baik sebanyak 30 responden (54,5%) dengan sikap ibu yang baik sebanyak 41 responden (74,5%). Hasil uji korelasi Rank Spearman ρ-value =0,000 (p < 0,05) dan nilai r = sebesar 0,634 yang artinya ada hubungan siginifikan antara dukungan suami terhadap sikap ibu dalam pemberian ASI Eksklusif di wilayah Puskesmas III Denpasar Utara, dengan kekuatan hubungan adalah kuat arah hubunga dalam penelitian ini adalah positif yang artinya semakin baik dukungan suami semakin baik sikap ibu dalam pemberian ASI Eksklusif.
