Abstract
Nutrition in children is still an important problem in maternal and child health in Indonesia. The 2018 Riskesdas stated that the proportion of poor and poor nutritional status in children under five in Indonesia was still high (17.7%). Nutritional status has a very big influence on individual health, thus affecting the quality of human resources in the future. The nutritional status of children under five depends on the nutritional intake and level of knowledge of the mother. This research method is a type of qualitative research using the library research method, which is to review the results of thoughts or research results related to the problem to be studied. In making this research, the data sources used were from 8 literatures in the form of articles and journals from data base sites. The results of the literature review show that from the four journals that observe the description between maternal intake and knowledge level, two statements are obtained where there are significant and nonsignificant results, and from the five journals that observe the relationship between the nutritional status of children under five and the level of maternal knowledge, it states that where there are significant results (that there is a significant relationship between the level of maternal knowledge and nutritional status of children under five) and nonsignificant (that there is no significant relationship between maternal knowledge and nutritional status). nutritional status of toddlers).
