Abstract
DESCRIPTION OF KNOWLEDGE LEVEL OF TRIMESTER III PREGNANT WOMEN ABOUT NON-PHARMACOLOGICAL LABOR PAIN MANAGEMENT TECHNIQUES AT PUSKESMAS IV DENPASAR SELATAN IN 2021 ABSTRACT Labor pain is a subjective experience of the physical sensations associated with uterine contractions, cervical dilatation and effacement, and fetal descent during labour. The impact of unresolved labor pain is post partum depression which can affect the physical and psychic of the mother and fetus, bleeding and prolonged labor. This study aims to determine the level of knowledge of pregnant women in the third trimester of non-pharmacological labor pain management techniques at Puskesmas IV, South Denpasar. This study uses a descriptive type of research. The sampling technique used in this study is Accidental Sampling with a total of 50 respondents. The instrument in this study was a knowledge level questionnaire. The results showed that from 50 respondents as many as 50 people (100%) had good knowledge and none had less or sufficient level of knowledge. This is because the education of health workers at Puskesmas IV Denpasar Selatan is very good. From these results, it is hoped that health workers will continue to educate about labor pain management to expand the knowledge of pregnant women in preparing for childbirth.
