Abstract

Dysmenorrhea is a common health problem experienced by adolescent girls and may interfere with daily activities, thus requiring effective educational strategies to improve preventive knowledge. This study aims to determine the difference in knowledge levels regarding primary dysmenorrhea prevention before and after video-based educational intervention among tenth-grade female students at SMAN 3 Denpasar. This research employed a quantitative method with a pre-experimental design using a one-group pre-test and post-test approach. The sample consisted of 44 respondents selected through proportional random sampling. Data were collected using a knowledge questionnaire administered before (pre-test) and after (post-test) the intervention in the form of video-based education on dysmenorrhea exercises. Data analysis was conducted using univariate and bivariate analysis with the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test. The results showed that most respondents had good knowledge before the intervention (61.4%) and increased after the intervention (95.5). In conclusion, %).
