Abstract

LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE AND BEHAVIOR OF TRADERS FOOD IN THE APPLICATION OF PERSONAL HYGIENE FOOD COVER IN DALUNG VILLAGE YEAR 2022 ABSTRACT Food is a basic human need to continue life so that the community's need for food provided outside the home increases. The level of education brings insight or knowledge, someone who is more educated will have broader knowledge than someone with a lower level of education. The low behavior of food handlers in the application of good food processing methods (GFPM) can increase the risk of decreasing the quality of the food produced so that it is at risk of causing health problems such as diarrhea, worms or food poisoning. The sample in this study were 60 respondents. Characteristics of respondents based on age with an average age of 21-30 years, as many as 22 people (36.67%). Characteristics of respondents based on gender with an average male gender of 46 people (76.67%). Characteristics of respondents based on the level of education with an average SMA or SMK as many as 40 people (66.67%). With the observation of the subject based on the level of knowledge. Respondents in the poor category (0.00%), with sufficient category as many as 12 people (20.00%) while in the good category as many as 48 people (80.00%). Observation of the subject based on the behavior of the respondent. From the results of the level of knowledge of the respondents obtained in the less category as many as 11 people (18.33%), with the sufficient category as many as 36 people (60.00%) while in the good category as many as 13 people (21.67). Suggestions for respondents to apply personal hygiene behavior of food handlers according to the requirements properly and correctly. Keywords: knowledge, behavior, personal hygiene, food handlers TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN DAN PERILAKU PEDAGANG MAKANAN DALAM PENERAPAN PERSONAL HYGIENE PENJAMAH MAKANAN DI DESA DALUNG TAHUN 2022 ABSTRAK Makanan merupakan kebutuhan dasar manusia untuk melanjutkan kehidupannya sehingga meningkatnya kebutuhan masyarakat terhadap makanan yang disediakan di luar rumah. Tingkat pendidikan membawa wawasan atau pengetahuan, seseorang yang berpendidikan lebih tinggi akan mempunyai pengetahuan yang lebih luas dibandingkan dengan seseorang yang tingkat pendidikannya lebih rendah. Rendahnya perilaku penjamah makanan dalam penerapan cara pengolahan pangan yang baik (CPPB) dapat meningkatkan risiko menurunya kualitas pangan yang dihasilkan sehingga berisiko meyebabkan gangguan kesehatan seperti diare, kecacingan atau keracunan makanan. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 60 responden. Karakteristik responden berdasarkan umur dengan rata - rata umur 21-30 tahun, sebanyak 22 orang (36,67%). Karakteristik responden berdasarkan jenis kelamin dengan rata - rata berjeneis kelamin laki - laki sebanyak 46 orang (76,67%). Karakteristik responden berdasarkan tingkat Pendidikan dengan rata - rata SMA atau SMK sebanyak 40 orang (66,67%). Dengan hasil pengamatan subyek berdasarkan tingkat pengetahuan. Responden dengan kategori kurang (0,00%), dengan kategori cukup sebanyak 12 orang (20,00%) sedangkan dengan kategori baik sebanyak 48 orang (80,00%). Pengamatan subyek berdasarkan perilaku responden. Dari hasil tingkat pengetahuan responden yang didapatkan dengan kategori kurang sebanyak 11 orang (18,33%), dengan kategori cukup sebanyak 36 orang (60,00%) sedangkan dengan kategori baik sebanyak 13 orang (21,67). Saran untuk responden agar menerapkan perilaku personal hygiene penjamah makanan sesuai persyaratan dengan baik dan benar. Kata kunci : pengetahuan, perilaku, personal hygiene, penjamah makanan
