Abstract

DESCRIPTION OF EFFORTS TO ACCELERATE BREAST MILK PRODUCTION INCREASE IN POST PARTUM MOTHERS DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC AT PUSKESMAS III NORTH DENPASAR ABSTRACT Exclusive breastfeeding is one of the programs of the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Government of the Republic of Indonesia which is being intensively promoted by the health sector to reduce child morbidity and mortality. Indonesia's health profile data noted that in 2018, the coverage of infants receiving exclusive breastfeeding was 68.74%. The purpose of this study was to describe an overview of efforts to accelerate the increase in breast milk production in post partum mothers during the Covid-19 pandemic at Puskesmas III North Denpasar. This research uses descriptive research. The sample used in this study were 58 respondents to postpartum mothers who had met the inclusion criteria. The majority of respondents with the number of births/parity more than 1 time (multipara) were 37 people (63.8%), the majority of respondents aged 20 to 35 years were 54 people (93.1%), the majority of respondents had a high school education. 27 people (46.6%), the majority of respondents work as housewives as many as 36 people (62.1%). The results of the study on efforts to facilitate the increase in breast milk production in post partum mothers during the covid-19 pandemic at Puskesmas III North Denpasar were included in the sufficient criteria as many as 32 people (55.2%). The results of this study are expected that postpartum mothers who already know the efforts to facilitate the increase in breast milk production are expected to be able to increase and maintain it, for postpartum mothers who are still in insufficient and sufficient criteria, it is hoped that they will be more active in seeking information that can be obtained in health care facilities and information. which can be obtained through electronic media. Keywords : Post Partum Mother, Covid-19 Pandemic, Exclusive Breastfeeding GAMBARAN UPAYA MEMPERLANCAR PENINGKATAN PRODUKSI ASI PADA IBU POST PARTUM DALAM MASA PANDEMI COVID-19 DI PUSKESMAS III DENPASAR UTARA ABSTRAK Pemberian ASI eksklusif merupakan salah satu program World Health Organization (WHO) dan Pemerintah Republik Indonesia yang sedang gencar digalakkan oleh bidang kesehatan untuk menurunkan angka morbiditas dan mortalitas anak. Data profil kesehatan Indonesia mencatat pada tahun 2018, cakupan bayi mendapat ASI eksklusif sebesar 68,74%. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan Gambaran Upaya Memperlancar Peningkatan Produksi ASI pada Ibu Post Partum dalam Masa Pandemi Covid-19 di Puskesmas III Denpasar Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 58 responden Ibu Post Partum yang telah memenuhi kriteria inklusi. Mayoritas responden dengan jumlah melahirkan/paritas lebih dari 1 kali (multipara) sebanyak 37 orang (63,8%), mayoritas responden dengan usia 20 sampai 35 tahun sebanyak 54 orang (93,1%), mayoritas pendidikan responden dengan pendidikan terakhir SMA sebanyak 27 orang (46,6%), mayoritas pekerjaan responden sebagai Ibu Rumah Tangga sebanyak 36 orang (62,1%). Hasil penelitian mengenai upaya memperlancar peningkatan produksi ASI pada ibu post partum dalam masa pendemi covid-19 di Puskesmas III Denpasar Utara termasuk dalam kriteria cukup sebanyak 32 orang (55,2%). Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan ibu nifas yang telah mengetahui upaya untuk memperlancar peningkatan produksi ASI dengan baik diharapkan dapat meningkatkan dan mempertahankannya, untuk ibu nifas yang masih dalam kriteria kurang dan cukup diharapkan agar lebih aktif untuk mencari informasi yang bisa didapatkan di fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan maupun informasi yang bisa didapatkan melalui media elektronik.
