Abstract
RELATIONSHIP OF KNOWLEDGE FAMILY SUPPORT AND COMPLIANCE LEVEL OF PREGNANT WOMEN CONSUMING IRON (Fe) TABLETS WITH ANEMIA Anemia has become a health problem in the world and in Indonesia so that the program of giving Fe tablets is a way to prevent and overcome anemia in pregnant women. The level of adherence to consuming Fe tablets affects hemoglobin levels in pregnant women, besides that knowledge about anemia and Fe tablets and family support is also very influential. The purpose of this thesis is to determine the relationship between knowledge of family support and the level of compliance of pregnant women taking iron (Fe) tablets with anemia. The method used is a literature review with various references to articles and research journals from 2015-2020. Searches were made through Google Scholar and Ejurnal. From 10 journals it was found that pregnant women had good knowledge of 37.7%, 8.0% enough and 54.1% less, good family support 38.8% and less family support 61.1%, obediently consuming 52.3 Fe tablets % and non-adherent 47.6%, experienced anemia 37.6% and non-anemic 62.3%. The incidence of anemia in pregnant women is included in the severe category. The results of the analysis showed that there was a relationship between knowledge and the level of compliance of pregnant women in consuming Fe tablets (p = 0.000). There is a relationship between family support and the level of compliance of pregnant women in consuming Fe tablets (p=0.004). And there is a relationship between the level of adherence to consuming Fe tablets with anemia in pregnant women (p = 0.006). It is recommended for pregnant women to increase knowledge about iron tablets and obey to consume iron tablets. Keywords : Knowledge, Family support, Compliance level, Iron tablets, Anemia
