Abstract

Consumption Pattern of Snack and Nutritional Status of Child in Elementary School in SD N 17 Dangin Puri and SD N 3 Penatih Denpasar City ABSTRACT There are some problems nutrition get by school-age children in Indonesia based on RISKESDAS in 2013. Snacks contribute to energy needs of children daily amounted to 20% – 31,1%. The purpose of this research is to know about food consumption patterns and the nutritional status of child on primary school in SD N 17 Dangin Puri and SD N 3 Penatih. Data collected use form recall 24 hours by 2 times. Data is analyzed by using table frequency distribution and relatedness between variable analyzed using cross table and descriptive analyzed. Most of sample have normal nutrition status (62.5%) dan (55.3%). Kinds of snack in SD N 17 Dangin Puri are in less category (75.0%), but in SD N 3 Penatih are in good category (65.8%). Energy consumption in both elementary school are in good category (57.5%) and (73.7%). Protein consumption in both elementary school are in good category (62.5% and (73.7%). After analyzed by descriptive, the result are in SD N 17 Dangin Puri there is relatedness between kinds of snacks and nutritional status of children, but in SD N 3 Penatih there is no relatedness between kinds of snack and nutritional status. The result in both elementary school, there is relatedness between food nutritional value and nutritional status of children. There are still problems nutrition in both elementary school. So therefore, recommended for school management and parents to more control the children food intake. Keywords: Consumption Pattern of Snacks, Nutritional Status, Child in Elementary School Pola Konsumsi Makanan Jajanan Dan Status Gizi Anak Sekolah Dasar Di SD N 17 Dangin Puri Dan SD N 3 Penatih Kota Denpasar ABSTRAK Terdapat beberapa masalah gizi yang dihadapi anak usia sekolah di Indonesia menurut hasil Riset Kesehatan Dasar 2013. Makanan jajanan sekolah berkontribusi terhadap kebutuhan energi harian anak, yakni mencapai 20% – 31,1%. Penelitian mengenai pola konsumsi makanan jajanan dan status gizi anak sekolah dasar yang dilakukan di SD N 17 Dangin Puri dan SD N 3 Penatih bertujuan untuk mengetahui pola konsumsi makanan jajanan dan status gizi anak sekolah dasar. Data hasil penelitian ini dikumpulkan menggunakan form recall 24 jam yang dilakukan 2 kali. Dalam menganalisis data yang diperoleh menggunakan tabel distribusi frekuensi dan keterkaitan antar variabel dianalisis menggunakan tabel silang dan dianalisis secara deskriptif. Sebagian besar sampel berstatus gizi normal (62.5%) dan (55.3%). Jenis makanan jajanan di SD N 17 dangin Puri berada pada kategori kurang (75.0%), sedangkan di SD N 3 Penatih sebagian besar berada pada kategori baik (65.8%). Konsumsi energi di kedua sekolah berada pada kategori baik (57.5%) dan (73.7%). Konsumsi protein di kedua sekolah berada pada kategori baik (62.5%) dan (73.7%). Setelah dilakukan analisis secara deskriptif diperoleh hasil di SD N 17 Dangin Puri yaitu kecendrungan ada keterkaitan antara jenis makanan jajanan dan status gizi. Sedangkan di SD N 3 Penatih tidak ada kecendrungan keterkaitan antara jenis makanan jajanan dan status gizi. Hasil di SD N 17 Dangin Puri dan SD N 3 Penatih menunjukkan bahwa kecendrungan adanya keterkaitan antara nilai gizi makanan jajanan dan status gizi. Masih terdapat masalah gizi di kedua sekolah dasar, sehingga disarankan pihak sekolah dan orang tua lebih mengendalikan asupan makanan anak.
