Abstract

LITERATURE REVIEW OF MENU VARIATION RELATIONSHIP WITH THE LEVEL OF PATIENT SATISFACTION IN HOSPITAL FOOD PROVISIONS ABSTRACT Nutritional services in hospitals are services provided and adjusted to the patient's condition based on clinical conditions, nutritional status, and metabolic status. The patient's nutritional condition greatly affects the healing process of the disease, on the other hand, the course of the disease can affect the patient's nutritional state. It often happens that the patient's condition gets worse due to insufficient nutritional needs for organ repair. Organizing food in hospitals is often the spotlight of many parties, especially those related to patient satisfaction (Kemenkes RI, 2013). Aspects of the level of patient satisfaction can be said to be satisfied: ≥ 90%, dissatisfied: <90% (Ministry of Health, 2008). This research method is a literature study from various references, namely research journals, journal reviews conducted in journals for the last 5 years, namely from 2015-2020, searches are carried out via google scholar or the internet with the keyword variety of menus, and the level of satisfaction of patients who are undergoing hospitalization. in the hospital. Data is obtained from 11 journals to see the results of menu variations, there are 10 journals related to menu variations, in the average menu variation journal, it states that there are variations on the menu presented, namely 6 journals and 4 journals are still less varied or do not meet the standards of the hospital. Then in the satisfaction level journal, there are 7 journals, 6 journals that express satisfaction and only 1 journal are not satisfied. In the analysis of the relationship between menu variations and satisfaction levels, there are 5 journals, 2 journals suggest that there is a relationship between menu variations and satisfaction levels and there are 3 journals which state that there is no relationship between menu variations and patient satisfaction levels.
