Abstract

ABSTRACT Anemia is one of the causes of maternal death. Anemia in pregnancy is the condition of the mother with hemoglobin levels below 11 g% in the first and third trimesters or levels <10.5 g% in the third trimester. Anemia in pregnancy has the potential to harm the mother and fetus. This study was conducted to determine the description of pregnant women with anemia which includes, the age of the pregnant woman, gestational age, parity, amount of iron received and KEK, in the Regional Technical Implementation Unit UPTD Puskesmas Sukawati I Gianyar. The population of this study were all pregnant women who visited the UPTD Puskesmas Sukawati I Gianyar. This research was a descriptive, cross sectional study. Total sampling as many as 162 respondents types of secondary medical record data for the period January to December 2020 The results showed that the incidence of anemia was 24.90%, based on parity in multigravida as many as 89 people (54.94%), based on gestational age in the third trimester as many as 90 people (55.5%) the most anemia occurred in pregnant women aged 20-35 years as many as 133 people (82.10%), based on good nutritional status as many as 127 people (78.40%), based on the amount of iron received 60 tablets as many as 71 respondents (43.82%), based on work status as IRT as many as 92 people (56.79%), based on education status is secondary education as many as 138 people (85.19%)
