Abstract
PERBEDAAN PENGETAHUAN REMAJA PUTRI TENTANG PENANGANAN DISMENORE DENGAN KOMPRES HANGAT SEBELUM DAN SETELAH DIBERIKAN PENYULUHAN DENGAN MEDIA LEAFLET Dysmenorrhea has an impact on limiting daily activities of teenage girls so it needs to be overcome with pain therapy, one of which is using warm compresses. The purpose of this study determine the differences in the knowledge of teenage girls about the treatment of dysmenorrhea with warm compresses before and after being given counseling with leaflet media in Langgahan Village, the working area of 1st Kintamani of Public Health Center in 2021. The research method used quasy experimental with one group pre-test post-test design. The sampling method was using simple random sampling technique. The results of the measurement of teenage gir's knowledge about the handling of dysmenorrhea with a warm compress before being given intervention obtained a Mean value of 58.33 with a standard deviation of 8, while after being given intervention obtained a Mean value of 98.54 with a standard deviation of 3,186 and there is an increase in respondents' knowledge after intervention. Wilcoxon test results obtained a value of p-value<0.05 which means Ha received. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that there are differences in the knowledge of teenage girls about the treatment of dysmenorrhea with warm compresses before and after being given counseling with leaflet media. Extension with leaflet media should be continued so that teenage girls apply the knowledge gained to optimize the non-pharmacological treatment of dysmenorrhea.
