Abstract
THE RELATIONSHIP OF KNOWLEDGE AND HUSBAND'S SUPPORT FACTORS WITH THE SELECTION OF LONG TERM CONTRACEPTION METHODS (LTCM) The study was carried out in the Regional Technical Implementation Unit of Puskesmas II, South Denpasar District Health Office ABSTRACT The Long Term Contraceptive Method (LTCM) is the government's effort to suppress population growth. Denpasar City is the city with the highest number of acceptor users, which is 163,694 targets in 2020, but in the Regional Technical Implementation Unit of Puskesmas II, South Denpasar District Health Office. with the target of fertile couples (PUS) not achieving the target, especially the use of LTCM. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between knowledge and husband's support factors with the selection of long-term contraceptive methods (LTCM) in the Regional Technical Implementation Unit of Puskesmas II, South Denpasar District Health Office. The sample used was 45 people. The method used in this research is correlation analytic method with cross sectional design, using Spearman Rank analysis test. The results of this study indicate that there is a relationship between the knowledge factor and the husband's support factor with the selection of the Long Term Contraceptive Method (LTCM). These two factors have a positive relationship, where the better one's knowledge, the more women of childbearing age to choose the long-term contraceptive method (LTCM). Likewise, the better the husband's support, the more women of childbearing age choose LTCM. Couples of childbearing age are expected to play an active role in the long-term contraceptive method (LTCM) by actively seeking information to increase knowledge, followed by the role of the husband as a supporter of long-term contraceptive method acceptors (LTCM).
