Abstract
The use of post-placental IUDs in Caesarean Section (SC) delivery mothers is still low, influenced by knowledge and information. One of the media for post-placental IUD information is a flipchart. Flipchart have the advantage of being practical and easy to use. The aim of the study was to determine the benefits of flipchart media on the level of knowledge about post-placental IUDs for women with Caesarean Section (SC). This research is a pre-experimental quantitative research with a One Group Pretest-Posttest design. Statistical analysis using Paired t-Test. The number of samples was 17 respondents using the Non Probability Sampling technique, namely purposive sampling. Data collection using a questionnaire. The pretest was carried out when the mother was preparing for Caesarean Section (SC), then given information with flipchart media, then the second day after the Caesarean Section (SC) was carried out the Posttest. The results showed that mothers with Caesarean Section (SC) at the pretest had a good level of knowledge of 52.9% and in the posttest results the level of good knowledge was 58.8%. The results of the Paired Samples Test analysis, the Sig. Value (2tailed) of 0.000 (<0.05), showed that there was a benefit of flipchart media on the level of knowledge about post-placental IUDs in women with Caesarean Section (SC). The flipchart media can be used as an information medium that is attractive and easy to understand.
