Abstract

THE OVERVIEW OF EXPECTANT MOTHER’S KNOWLEDGE LEVEL ABOUT HEALTHY AND NUTRITIOUS FOOD DURING GESTATION AT AREA OF PUSKESMAS BATURITI II IN 2021 ABSTRACT Adequate nutrition must be known by pregnant women because this nutrition will be used by pregnant women and their fetuses, during the COVID-19 pandemic, fulfilling the nutritional needs of pregnant women is very important. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of knowledge of pregnant women about healthy and nutritious food during pregnancy in the Baturiti II Public Health Center. This type of research was descriptive with a cross sectional approach with a total of 32 respondents. The research instrument is a questionnaire. The results of this study are from 32 respondents who can be categorized as follows for primigravida pregnant women obtained as many as 11 people (34.4%), have good knowledge 3 people (9.35%) have sufficient knowledge and no primigravida pregnant women have knowledge less . While multigravida pregnant women got 15 people (46.9%) had good knowledge, 3 people (9.35%) had sufficient knowledge and no pregnant women had poor knowledge. It can be described that 81.3% of mothers have knowledge about healthy and nutritious food in the Baturiti II Health Center Work Area with good category. It is hoped that health workers will add more educational programs and information to pregnant women, especially about healthy and nutritious foods that must be consumed during pregnancy.
