Abstract
DESCRIPTION OF DIETARY COMPLIANCE IN DIABETES MELLITUS PATIENTS AT SANJIWANI HOSPITAL GIANYAR IN 2021 This Care Study is done at RSUD Sanjiwani Gianyar ABSTRACT Diabetes mellitus is a multiple etiology metabolic disorder, characterized by chronic hyperglycemia with impaired metabolism of carbohydrates, fats and proteins due to the defect of insulin secretion, insulin work, or both. Obedience is a human behavior that adheres to rules, orders, procedures and disciplines. The purpose of this study is to determine dietary compliance in patients with diabetes militus at Sanjiwani Gianyar Hospital. This research suggests a type of descriptive research with quantitative design. The study was conducted using questionnaire sheets for 30 diabetes mellitus patients with dietary compliance at Sanjiwani Gianyar Hospital. The results showed that based on the level of dietary compliance obtained most respondents adhered to the diet of 56.7 %. Keyword: Diabetes Mellitus, Complian, Diet
