Abstract
DESCRIPTION OF CLEAN AND HEALTHY LIVING BEHAVIOR OF ELEMENTARY SCHOOL-AGE CHILDREN DURING THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC IN BANJAR PASEK KEDONGANAN IN 2021 ABSTARCT Until now, the Covid-19 virus in Indonesia still shows an increasing number of cases, so that the transmission of the Covid-19 virus can be prevented by implementing clean and healthy living habits and still following the directions of health protocols. The purpose of this study is to describe the clean and healthy behavior of elementary school aged children during the Covid-19 pandemic in Banjar Pasek Kedonganan in 2021. This study used a descriptive method with a cross sectional approach and simple random sampling technique. The number of samples used was 56 respondents. The data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed descriptively using the SPSS computer program. The results showed that most of the respondents had a good clean and healthy lifestyle, as many as 48 respondents (86%), enough category as many as 8 respondents (14%) and there were no respondents who had low category behavior. Even though the majority of respondents have a clean and healthy lifestyle, the respondents are categorized as good, we still have to maintain and improve health and immunity to stay protected from the Covid-19 virus and other diseases.
