Abstract

Spiritual Distress In Chronic Renal Failure Patients Undergoing Hemodialysis At Buleleng Hospital In 2021 ABSTRACT Chronic kidney failure is a complication of several diseases both from the kidney itself and common diseases outside the kidneys, which affects many people in the world. One of the spiritual problems, namely spiritual distress, has an impact on CKD patients who undergo hemodialysis characterized by not having faith, not knowing their purpose in life, being isolated from other people, and reluctant to pray to God. The purpose of this research was to spiritual distress in chronic renal failure patients undergoing hemodialysis at Buleleng Hospital in 2021. This study used a descriptive method with a quantitative research design and used a cross-sectional approach.. The results of this study showed that from 32 research subjects, 17 people (53.1%) had spiritually healthy based on age 41-60 years, spiritually healthy based on gender, namely 8 people (56.3%). ), and spiritually healthy based on the duration of illness, namely 3-5 years as many as 8 people (25%). There were 28 spiritual people (87.5%) who had spiritually healthy category, and 4 people (12.5%) had spiritual distress. From these results it can be concluded that most of the respondents have a spiritually healthy, as many as 28 people (87.5%). Keywords: Spiritual Distress, CKD, Hemodialysis
