Abstract
Waste is defined as something that is not used, not liked or something thrown away, which comes from human activities and does not occur by itself Health promotion method with Focus Group Discussion (FGD) or focus group discussion is the acquisition of data or information from a respondent's interaction based on the results of discussion in a group that focuses on solving certain problems and the simulation game method is a combination of role play with group discussion. Studies that have been conducted at Saraswati Sukawati and PGRI 7 Guwang junior high school for education on waste management problems have never been given. Purpose of this study was to determine the effect of application Focus Group Discussion method and simulation games about waste management in schools. on the level of knowledge, attitudes, and behavior students with pre-experimental research methods with the One Group Pretest Posttest Design. The results of the study using paired t-test were obtained by sig (2-tailed) (0,000) <α (0.05). Saraswati Sukawati and Guwang 7 PGRI junior high school. And it is recommended to create a waste management program that can involve students, review health promotion methods, and input for the next health promotion program maker Keywords: Health Promotion, Knowledge, Attitude, and Behavior
