Abstract

ABSTRAK Status gizi merupakan salah satu indikator kesehatan yang menentukan kualitas sumberdaya manusia. Semakin rendah asupan zat gizi yang diterima, semakin rendah pula status gizi dan kesehatan anak. Asupan anak usia 6-36 bulan bergantung pada riwayat menyusui. Berdasarkan data dari Dinas Kesehatan Kota Denpasar capaian ASI eksklusif Puskesmas I Denpasar Barat. Menurunnya angka pemberian ASI dan meningkatnya pemakaian susu formula disebabkan oleh kondisi yang kurang memadai bagi para ibu yang bekerja karena cuti melahirkan yang terlalu singkat. Pekerjaan merupakan salah satu kendala ibu untuk memberikan ASI eksklusif kepada bayinya. Penelitian dilaksanakan dari bulan April hingga Mei 2019. Jenis penelitian ini observasional dengan rancangan cross sectional dan jumlah sampel 71 orang. Teknik analisa data mengunakan analisa uji chi square untuk menganalisis hubungan antara status pekerjaan ibu dengan riwayat menyusui dan uji korelasi pearson untuk menganalisis hubungan antara riwayat menyusui dengan status gizi. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan tidak ada hubungan antara status pekerjaan ibu dengan riwayat menyusui (p=0,564) dan tidak ada hubungan antara riwayat menyusui dengan status gizi anak usia 6-36 bulan (sig=0,846) di wilayah kerja Puskesmas I Denpasar Barat. Kata Kunci : Pekerjaan ibu, riwayat menyusui, status gizi ABSTRACT Nutritional status is one of the health indicators that determine the quality of human resources. The lower intake of nutrients will affect lower nutritional status and health of children. Intake of children aged 6-36 months depends on the history of breastfeeding. Based on data from the Denpasar City Health Office, the achievement of exclusive breastfeeding at I West Denpasar Public Health Center. Declining rate of breastfeeding and increase uses of formula milk are caused by inadequate conditions for working mothers because maternity leave is too short. The study was conducted from April to May 2019. Work is one of the inhibitor for mothers to give exclusive breastfeeding to their babies. The study was held from April to May 2019. This type of research was observational with a cross sectional design with 71 sample. The analysis technique use chi square test analysis to analyze the relationship between maternal employment status with breastfeeding history and pearson correlation test to analyze the relationship between breastfeeding history and nutritional status. The results of the statistical tests showed no relationship between the mothers job with a history of breastfeeding and (p = 0.564) also there was no correlation between the history of breastfeeding and the nutritional status of children aged 6-36 months (sig = 0.846) in the area of I West Denpasar Public Health Center.
