Abstract
Dental and oral health has a big role in human life, especially in the process of digestion of food. For that, dental and oral health is very important because good care will affect overall health. But most people ignore the overall dental health condition. Adolescence is the period of the end of childhood and the onset of adulthood. Based on this, the research aims to describe the level of knowledge about tooth brushing and dental and oral hygiene in Grade VII students of SMP N 4 Strait of Klungkung Regency. This type of research is descriptive conducted by survey design. The study population was seventh grade students in SMP N 4 Strait of Klungkung Regency which numbered 66. The instruments used were the test book and OHI-S. Data analysis was done univariately to find out the percentage, frequency and mean. Based on the results of the study, the average level of knowledge of all respondents is obtained with a value of 67.44 in sufficient criteria and the average level of dental and oral hygiene of all respondents is 1.44 in the criteria of being ... Conclusions in the study are descriptions of knowledge about tooth brushing and tooth and mouth cleaning in class VII SMP N 4 Strait of Klungkung Regency Year 2019 is in the criteria of being moderat
