Abstract

DESCRIPTION OF THE RISK OF HYPERTENSION IN PEOPLE WHO CONSUME ARAK IN BANJAR KUBU DISTRICT KUBU, KARANGASEM REGENCY YEAR 2023 ABSTARCK Hypertension is a condition when the body's blood pressure increases to abnormal. Blood pressure is called high when systolic pressure ≥ 140 mmHg and diastole pressure ≥ 90 mmHg measured on at least three different occasions. This research was conducted to determine the Risk of Hypertension in Arak Consuming Communities in Banjar Kubu, Kubu District, Karangasem Regency in 2023. The type of research used was descriptive research with purposive sampling technique, the population of this study was 126 with a sample size of 59 people. The results of this study indicate that the risk of hypertension in the community consuming arak in Banjar Kubu, Kubu Village, Kubu District, Karangasem Regency in 2023 with the majority having a high risk of hypertension at the age of 34-37 years as many as 12 people (20.3%), working as civil servants as many as 15 people (25.4%), all Hindus 59 people (100%) and long consuming arak> 10 years as many as 25 people (42.4%). It can be concluded that people who consume arak mostly have a higher risk of developing hypertension. So it is hoped that the community will reduce the consumption of alcohol as an effort to prevent hypertension. Keywords: Hypertension, Arak, Risk GAMBARAN RISIKO HIPERTENSI PADA MASYARAKAT PENGONSUMSI ARAK DI BANJAR KUBU KECAMATAN KUBU KABUPATEN KARANGASEM TAHUN 2023 ABSTRAK Hipertensi merupakan keadaan saat tekanan darah tubuh meningkat menjadi abnormal.Tekanan darah dikatakan tinggi apabila tekanan sistolik ≥ 140 mmHg dan tekanan diastole ≥ 90 mmHg yang diukur setidaknya pada tiga kesempatan yang berbeda. Penelitian dilakukan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Gambaran Risiko Hipertensi pada Masyarakat Pengonsumsi Arak di Banjar Kubu, Kecamatan Kubu, Kabupaten Karangasem Tahun 2023. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriftif dengan teknik purposive sampling populasi penelitian ini sebanyak 126 dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 59 orang. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa risiko hipertensi pada masyarakat pengonsumsi arak di Banjar Kubu, Desa Kubu, Kecamatan Kubu, Kabupaten Karangasem tahun 2023 dengan mayoritas memiliki risiko tinggi mengalami hipertensi pada umur 34-37 tahun sebanyak 12 orang (20,3%), bekerja sebagai PNS sebanyak 15 orang (25,4%), semua beragama hindu 59 orang (100%) dan lama mengonsumsi arak >10 tahun sebanyak 25 orang (42,4%). Dapat disimpulkan masyarakat yang mengonsumsi arak sebagian besar memiliki risiko yang lebih tinggi mengalami hipertensi. Maka diharapkan masyarakat mengurangi mengonsumsi arak sebagai upaya pencegahan mengalami penyakit hipertensi. Kata Kunci : Hipertensi, Arak, Risiko
