Abstract
DESCRIPTION OF LIPID PROFILE IN TYPE 2 DIABETES MELLITUS PATIENTS AT KUNGKUNG HOSPITAL IN 2023 ABSTRAC Insulin resistance in type 2 diabetes mellitus can lead to dyslipidemia. Dyslipidemia in diabetes is characterized by increased LDL and triglycerides and low HDL. Dyslipidemia in diabetes mellitus is at risk of increasing the occurrence of cardiovascular disease. This study aims to describe the lipid profile in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus at Klungkung Hospital in 2023. This type of research is a quantitative descriptive. The sampling technique used is probability sampling with simple random sampling with a total sample of 47 respondents. All data collected is secondary data obtained from patient medical records. The results showed that of the 47 respondents who experienced an increase in total cholesterol, namely 40.4%, LDL 65.9%, triglycerides 38.3% and a decrease in HDL 27.7%. Based on the research results, it is hoped that the public will continue to monitor their lipid profile levels, especially for people with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Keywords: Dyslipidemia, insulin resistance, diabetes mellitus GAMBARAN PROFIL LIPID PADA PASIEN DIABETES MELITUS TIPE 2 DI RSUD KLUNGKUNG TAHUN 2023 ABSTRAK Resistensi Insulin pada diabetes melitus tipe 2 dapat mengakibatkan terjadinya dislipidemia. Dislipidemia pada diabetes ditandai dengan peningkatan LDL dan trigliserida serta rendahnya HDL. Dislipidemia pada diabetes melitus beresiko meningkatkan terjadinya penyakit kardiovaskular. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran profil lipid pada pasien diabetes melitus tipe 2 di RSUD Klungkung tahu 2023. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah probability sampling dengan simple random sampling dengan jumlah sampel 47 responden. Seluruh data yang dikumpulkan merupakan data sekunder yang di dapatkan dari rekam medik pasien. Hasil penelitian menunjukan dari 47 sampel yang mengalami peningkatan Kolesterol total yaitu 40.4%, LDL 65.9%, Trigliserida 38.3% dan penurunan HDL 27.7%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diharapkan masyarakat agar tetap memantau kadar profil lipid nya terutama bagi penderita diabetes melitus tipe 2.
