Abstract

DESCRIPTION OF KNOWLEDGE LEVEL OF DENTAL AND MOUTH HEALTH AND TEET BRUSHING SKILLS IN THE ADOLESCENT FAMILY IN THE VILLAGE MANGGIS IN 2022 ABSTRACT Knowledge is the result of knowing, and this occurs after a person has sensed a certain object. The purpose of this study was to describe the level of knowledge of dental and oral health and the teeth brushing skills of the assisted families in the Manggis Village in 2022. This type of research is descriptive research with the number of respondents as many as 34 teenagers. This type of research is descriptive research with the number of respondents as many as 34 teenagers. The types of data used are primary data and secondary data. The data collection method is through google form for knowledge questions and observation for brushing skills. The results showed that adolescents who had the highest level of knowledge were 17 people (50%) with sufficient criteria and the lowest were seven people (20.9%) with less criteria. The average level of adolescent knowledge is 65.29% with sufficient criteria. Adolescents who have the highest level of tooth brushing skills are eleven people (32.35%) with sufficient criteria and the lowest are six people (17.65%) with good criteria. The average skill level of adolescents is 66.76 with sufficient criteria. Based on the results of research conducted on 34 adolescents, it can be concluded that the level of knowledge of dental and oral health of assisted family adolescents in Manggis Village in 2022 with sufficient criteria and the skill levels of assisted family adolescents in Manggis Village in 2022, namely sufficient criteria. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran tingkat pengetahuan kesehatan gigi dan mulut serta keterampilan menyikat gigi remaja keluarga binaan di Desa Manggis Tahun 2022. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 34 orang remaja. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah data primer dan data sekunder. Metode pengumpulan datanya adalah melalui google form untuk soal pengetahuan dan observasi untuk keterampilan menyikat gigi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa remaja yang memiliki tingkat pengetahuan tertinggi sebanyak 17 orang (50%) dengan kriteria cukup dan terendah sebanyak tujuh orang (20,9%) dengan kriteria kurang. Rata-rata tingkat pengetahuan remaja yaitu 65,29% dengan kriteria cukup. Remaja yang memiliki tingkat keterampilan menyikat gigi tertinggi sebanyak sebelas orang (32,35%) dengan kriteria cukup dan terendah sebanyak enam orang (17,65%) dengan kriteria baik. Rata-rata tingkat keterampilan remaja yaitu 66,76 dengan kriteria cukup. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan pada 34 remaja maka dapat ditarik simpulan tingkat pengetahuan kesehatan gigi dan mulut remaja keluarga binaan di Desa Manggis Tahun 2022 dengan kriteria cukup dan tingkat keterampilan remaja keluarga binaan di Desa manggis Tahun 2022 yaitu kriteria cukup.
