Abstract

HUBUNGAN PENGETAHUAN IBU DAN DUKUNGAN KELUARGA DENGAN KEBERHASILAN PEMBERIAN ASI EKSKLUSIF DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS LITE KABUPATEN FLORES TIMUR TAHUN 2026 ABSTRAK Pemberian Air Susu Ibu (ASI) eksklusif merupakan salah satu upaya penting dalam meningkatkan kesehatan, pertumbuhan, dan perkembangan bayi. Pemberian ASI eksklusif dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor, di antaranya pengetahuan ibu dan dukungan keluarga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pengetahuan ibu dan dukungan keluarga dengan pemberian ASI eksklusif di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Lite Kabupaten Flores Timur Tahun 2026. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain cross sectional. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh ibu yang memiliki bayi usia 7–12 bulan di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Lite Kabupaten Flores Timur Tahun 2026. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 50 responden yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner. Analisis data menggunakan uji Chi-Square dengan tingkat kemaknaan α = 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar responden memiliki pengetahuan baik sebanyak 32 responden (64,0%), memperoleh dukungan keluarga poaitif sebanyak 35 responden (70,0%), dan memberikan ASI eksklusif sebanyak 38 responden (76,0%). Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan ibu dengan pemberian ASI eksklusif (p-value = 0,003) dan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara dukungan keluarga dengan pemberian ASI eksklusif (p-value = 0,002). Disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan antara pengetahuan ibu dan dukungan keluarga dengan pemberian ASI eksklusif di wilayah kerja Puskesmas Lite Kabupaten Flores Timur Tahun 2026. Peningkatan pengetahuan ibu dan dukungan keluarga perlu terus dilakukan untuk meningkatkan cakupan pemberian ASI eksklusif. Exclusive breastfeeding is influenced by various factors, including maternal knowledge and family support. This study aimed to determine the relationship between maternal knowledge and family support with exclusive breastfeeding practices in the working area of Lite Community Health Center, East Flores Regency, in 2026. This study employed a quantitative method with a cross-sectional design. The study population consisted of all mothers with infants aged 7–12 months in the working area of Lite Community Health Center, East Flores Regency, in 2026. The sample comprised 50 respondents selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected using a questionnaire. Data analysis was conducted using the Chi-Square test with a significance level of α = 0.05. The results showed that the majority of respondents had good knowledge, accounting for 32 respondents (64.0%), received good family support, accounting for 35 respondents (70.0%), and practiced exclusive breastfeeding, accounting for 38 respondents (76.0%). Statistical test results indicated a significant relationship between maternal knowledge and exclusive breastfeeding (p-value = 0.003) and a significant relationship between family support and exclusive breastfeeding (p-value = 0.002). It can be concluded that there is a relationship between maternal knowledge and family support and the practice of exclusive breastfeeding in the working area of Lite Community Health Center, East Flores Regency, in 2026. Efforts to improve maternal knowledge and strengthen family support should be continuously enhanced to increase the coverage of exclusive breastfeeding.
