Abstract
THE EFFECT OF STUNTING ALERT EDUCATION THROUGH TIKTOK MEDIA ON THE LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE OF ADOLESCENT GIRLS ABOUT STUNTING PREVENTION Study Conducted at SMAN 1 Sukawati Year 2024 ABSTRACT The risk of stunting begins at the pre-conception stage when an undernourished adolescent becomes an anemic mother. TikTok social media is one of the most popular platforms among teenagers, with the potential to deliver educational messages attractively and effectively. This study aims to determine the effect of stunting alert education through TikTok media on the level of knowledge of adolescent girls about stunting prevention at SMAN 1 Sukawati. This study used a pre-experimental design with a One Group Pre-Post Test design with a sample size of 113 people using total sampling. Data collection was done by giving a questionnaire on the level of knowledge of stunting prevention. The results showed that the level of knowledge of stunting prevention before education, most of them were in the good category as many as 80 people (70.8%) and after getting education through TikTok media, there was an increase in knowledge as many as 107 (94,7%) in the good category. The results of the study were tested with the Wilcoxon Test with a p-value (0.000) <alpha (0.05), it can be concluded that there is an effect of stunting alert education through TikTok media on the level of knowledge of adolescent girls about stunting prevention at SMAN 1 Sukawati in 2024. Based on these results, it is hoped that education using TikTok media can be taken into consideration in preparing intervention strategies for preventing stunting in adolescent girls. Media sosial TikTok menjadi salah satu platform yang populer di kalangan remaja, dengan potensi untuk menyampaikan pesan edukasi secara menarik dan efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh edukasi siaga stunting melalui media TikTok terhadap tingkat pengetahuan remaja putri tentang pencegahan stunting di SMAN 1 Sukawati. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain pra-eksperimental dengan rancangan One Group Pre-Post Test dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 113 orang menggunakan total sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan memberikan kuesioner tingkat pengetahuan pencegahan stunting. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pengetahuan pencegahan stunting sebelum edukasi, sebagian besar berada pada kategori baik sebanyak 80 orang (70,8%) dan setelah mendapatkan edukasi melalui media TikTok, adanya peningkatan pengetahuan sebanyak 107 (94,7%) pada kategori baik. Hasil penelitian diuji dengan Uji Wilcoxon dengan nilai p-value (0,000) < alpha (0,05), maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh edukasi siaga stunting melalui media TikTok terhadap tingkat pengetahuan remaja putri tentang pencegahan stunting di SMAN 1 Sukawati tahun 2024. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, diharapkan edukasi dengan menggunakan media TikTok dapat dijadikan bahan pertimbangan dalam penyusunan strategi intervensi pencegahan stunting pada remaja putri.
