Abstract
DESCRIPTION OF HEMOGLOBIN LEVELS IN PREGNANT WOMEN IN THE WORKING AREA OF UBUD I PUBLIC HEALTH CENTER Background: Anemia in pregnant women remains a significant health problem that can increase the risk of pregnancy complications and maternal mortality. This study aimed to describe hemoglobin levels among pregnant women in the working area of Ubud I Public Health Center. Methods: This research used a descriptive method with purposive sampling technique involving 84 pregnant women. Data were collected through interviews and hemoglobin examination using the Point of Care Testing (POCT) method. Results: The results showed that most respondents were in the non-risk age group (94,0%), with the highest distribution in the first and third trimesters (35,7% each). About 84,5% had non-risk pregnancy spacing and 98,8% had non-risk parity. Hemoglobin examination results indicated that 51,2% of pregnant women had low Hb levels (<11 g/dl), while 48,8% had normal levels. Conclusion: In conclusion, most pregnant women in the working area of Ubud I Public Health Center experienced anemia, indicating the need for improved monitoring and nutritional interventions to prevent adverse outcomes for both mother and fetus. Keywords: hemoglobin, pregnant women, anemia GAMBARAN KADAR HEMOGLOBIN PADA IBU HAMIL DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS UBUD 1 Latar Belakang: Anemia pada ibu hamil masih menjadi masalah kesehatan yang dapat meningkatkan risiko komplikasi kehamilan dan kematian ibu.
