Abstract

GAMBARAN KESEHATAN JIWA IBU HAMIL DI WILAYAH KERJA PUSKESMAS BEBANDEM, KARANGASEM, BALI 2026 ABSTRAK Depresi pada ibu hamil merupakan masalah kesehatan mental yang masih ditemukan di berbagai wilayah, baik itu didaerah perkotaan maupun dipedesaan. Hal ini memerlukan deteksi dini untuk mencegah dampak buruk terhadap ibu dan janin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran kesehatan jiwa ibu hamil diwilayah kerja Puskesmas Bebandem, Karangasem, Bali 2026. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan merupakan deskriptif menggunakan pendekatan cross sectional. Rumus besar sampel ditentukan dengan rumus Slovin. Sampel dalam penelitian ini 52 ibu hamil yang dipilih menggunakan teknik random sampling. Pengumpulan data menggunakan instrumen Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale (EPDS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar responden tidak mengalami gejala depresi, yaitu sebanyak 46 responden (88,5%), sedangkan sebanyak 6 responden (11,5%) mengalami gejala depresi. Ibu hamil yang mengalami gejala depresi lebih banyak ditemukan pada rentan usia 20–35 tahun, berpendidikan rendah, paritas multigravida dan tersebar pada seluruh trimester kehamilan serta semua ibu hamil berstatus kawin. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah kondisi kesehatan jiwa ibu hamil tergolong baik, namun masih terdapat sebagian kecil ibu hamil mengalami gejala depresi, sehingga diperlukan skrining kesehatan jiwa ibu hamil lebih rutin di pelayanan Antenatal Care (ANC) untuk mencegah sedini mungkin hal buruk yang terjadi pada ibu dan janin. Kata Kunci: Ibu Hamil; Kesehatan Jiwa; EPDS PROFILE MENTAL HEALTH OF PREGNANT WOMAN IN THE WORKING AREA OF THE BEBANDEM HEALTH CENTER, KARANGASEM, BALI 2026 ABSTRACT Depression in pregnant women is a mental health problem that is still found in various regions, both in urban and rural areas. This requires early detection to prevent adverse impacts on the mother and fetus. This study aims to determine the mental health of pregnant women in the working area of the Bebandem Community Health Center, Karangasem, Bali 2026. The type of research used is descriptive with a cross-sectional approach. The sample size formula is determined by the Slovin formula. The sample in this study were 52 pregnant women selected using a random sampling technique. Data collection used the Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale (EPDS) instrument. The results showed that the majority of respondents did not experience symptoms of depression, namely 46 respondents (88.5%), while 6 respondents (11.5%) experienced symptoms of depression. Pregnant women who experienced symptoms of depression were more often found in the 20-35 year age range, low education, multigravida parity and spread across all trimesters of pregnancy and all pregnant women were married. The conclusion of this study is that the mental health of pregnant women is generally good. However, a small number still experience symptoms of depression. Therefore, more routine mental health screening for pregnant women during antenatal care (ANC) is needed to prevent adverse events for both mother and fetus as early as possible.
