Abstract
PERBEDAAN PENGETAHUAN REMAJA TENTANG INFEKSI MENULAR SEKSUAL SEBELUM DAN SESUDAH DIBERIKAN EDUKASI DENGAN MEDIA VIDEO Studi dilakukan di Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 13 Denpasar ABSTRAK Perilaku seksual pranikah remaja berisiko terhadap penularan IMS. Prevalensi IMS remaja Kota Denpasar tahun 2023 mencapai 9%, salah satunya dipengaruhi oleh pengetahuan yang rendah sehingga mempengaruhi sikap dan tindakan. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui perbedaan pengetahuan remaja tentang IMS sebelum dan sesudah diberikan edukasi dengan media video. Metode penelitian adalah pre-eksperimental one group pre-test post-test design. Populasi adalah siswa SMP Negeri 13 Denpasar berjumlah 316, besar sampel berdasarkan komperatif numerik berpasangan berjumlah 40, sesuai kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi dengan teknik propotional random sampling. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan November 2025. Data penelitian menggunakan data primer yaitu pengetahuan remaja tentang IMS dengan instrumen berupa kuesioner yang valid dan reliable. Uji normalitas data dengan Shapiro-Wilk nilai p pre-test 0,107 dan post test 0,112, kategori berdistribusi normal. Analisis univariat dengan distribusi frekuensi berupa data pengetahuan sebelum dan sesudah, hasil mean pre-test 76 dan mean post-test 92. Analisis bivariat menggunakan uji Paired T-Test menunjukkan nilai p = 0,000 (<0,05) yang berarti terdapat perbedaan signifikan pengetahuan sebelum dan sesudah diberikan edukasi dengan media video. Penggunaan media video efektif serta dapat mengoptimalkan peningkatan pengetahuan remaja tentang IMS. Simpulan terdapat perbedaan secara signifikan pengetahuan sebelum dan sesudah diberikan edukasi dengan media video. Saran penggunaan media video edukasi secara continue. Kata kunci: Pengetahuan, Remaja, Infeksi Menular Seksual, Video DIFFERENCES IN ADOLESCENTS' KNOWLEDGE ABOUT SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED INFECTIONS BEFORE AND AFTER PROVIDED EDUCATION USING VIDEO MEDIA ABSTRACT Premarital sexual behavior of adolescents is at risk of transmitting STIs. The prevalence of STIs among adolescents in Denpasar City in 2023 reached 9%, one of which was influenced by low knowledge which influenced attitudes and actions. The purpose of this study was to determine the differences in adolescent knowledge about STIs before and after being given education using video media. The research method was a pre-experimental one group pre-test post-test design. The population was 316 students of SMP Negeri 13 Denpasar, the sample size based on paired numerical comparatives was 40, according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria with proportional random sampling technique. The study was conducted in November 2025. The research data used primary data, namely adolescent knowledge about STIs with a valid and reliable questionnaire as the instrument. Data normality test with Shapiro-Wilk p-value pre-test 0.107 and post-test 0.112, the category is normally distributed. Univariate analysis with frequency distribution in the form of knowledge data before and after, the mean pre-test result was 76 and the mean post-test was 92. Bivariate analysis using the Paired T-Test showed a p-value = 0.000 (<0.05) which means there is a significant difference in knowledge before and after being given education with video media. The use of video media is effective and can optimize the increase in adolescent knowledge about STIs. The conclusion is that there is a significant difference in knowledge before and after being given education with video media. Suggestions for the continuous use of educational video media.
