Abstract

MIDWIFERY CARE OF MRS. “PJ” 27 YEARS OLD PRIMIGRAVIDA FROM 12 WEEKS 6 DAYS OF PREGNANCY UNTIL 42 DAYS OF POST PARTUM The Case Take Placed In The Working Area of UPTD Puskesmas I Dinas Kesehatan Denpasar Selatan In 2025 Pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period are natural processes for a mother. This case study report aims to describe the results of implementing comprehensive and continuous midwifery care provided to Mrs. “PJ” from 12 weeks and 6 days of pregnancy, through labor, the postpartum period, and newborn care. The data collection method used was a case report approach, utilizing primary data such as interviews and observations, as well as secondary data taken from the Maternal and Child Health (MCH) handbook. The mother’s condition remained within normal limits from 12 weeks and 6 days of pregnancy until the onset of labor. During her pregnancy, Mrs. PJ received prenatal care that included prenatal yoga. Labor progressed physiologically through all four stages (stage I, II, III, and IV). During labor, the mother also received back massages to support comfort. A baby girl was born on February 22, 2025, in a vigorous condition and adapting well. The newborn received baby massage as part of newborn care. The postpartum period also progressed physiologically, during which the mother received oxytocin massage. All care was provided based on evidence-based standards to monitor the mother and baby’s condition and enable early detection as an effort to prevent complications that may occur during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. Keywords: midwifery care, pregnancy, labor, postpartum, newborn baby.
