Abstract

Pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum period are natural processes that if not handled properly can turn pathological. This case report aims to explain the results of the implementation of comprehensive continuous midwifery care for mother "SA" aged 28 years old primigravida from 20 weeks of pregnancy to 42 days of postpartum. This study uses primary and secondary data collection techniques through interviews, examinations, observations and documentation. Care was carried out from September 2024 to March 2025. The development of mother "SA"'s pregnancy was physiological and standard. Complementary care provided during pregnancy was prenatal yoga, lower back massage and perineal massage with aromatherapy oil. The mother gave birth vaginally physiologically and without complications. Complementary care given during labor was counterpressure massage and birthing ball. The baby was born crying immediately, had active muscle tone, reddish skin and a birth weight of 3000 grams. Complementary care given to newborns was baby massage. The postpartum period in the process of uterine involution, lochia discharge and lactation was physiological and standard. Complementary care provided during the postpartum period is postpartum gymnastics and oxytocin massage. Antenatal, intranatal, neonatal, and postnatal services have been carried out comprehensively and continuously by including complementary care to try for physiological pregnancy up to 42 days of postpartum period.
