Abstract

Continuous care or continuity of care for mother "NH" is combined with complementary care to obtain maximum service results and increase comfort and minimize complaints. This study uses a case study with primary and secondary data collection techniques through interviews, examinations, observations and documentation. Care was provided from October 2024 to April 2025. The development of mother "NH"'s pregnancy was physiological but antenatal care did not meet the 12T standards because mother "NH" did not undergo laboratory tests in the first trimester but in the second trimester and the mother did not undergo maternal mental health screening in the first trimester. Complementary care provided during pregnancy was prenatal yoga. The mother gave birth vaginally physiologically and without complications. Complementary care provided during the labor process such as counterpressure massage, birthing ball, lavender aromatherapy so that the mother can go through the labor process comfortably. The baby was born crying immediately, active muscle tone, reddish skin and birth weight 3200 grams. Observation of the postpartum triad and psychological adaptation during the postpartum period was physiological without complications. Based on this, antenatal, intranatal, neonatal, and postnatal services should be carried out comprehensively and continuously by including complementary care as an important part of ensuring a physiological pregnancy up to 42 days of postpartum period.
