Abstract
DESCRIPTION OF THE LEVEL OF KNOWLEDGE OF DENTAL AND ORAL HEALTH MAINTENANCE BEFORE AND AFTER COUNSELING WITH THE 2025 LEAFLET MEDIA (Study Conducted on Students of Grade IV and V of Elementary School No. 4 Abiansemal, Abiansemal District, Badung Regency) ABSTRACT General body health includes dental and oral health, at school age children are vulnerable to dental and oral diseases because they still have poor habits in maintaining dental and oral health. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of knowledge of dental and oral health maintenance before and after counseling with leaflet media in grades IV and V of SD No. 4 Abiansemal in 2025. This type of research is descriptive research. The number of research respondents was 38 students. The types of data collected were primary data and secondary data. Data collection was carried out by providing pre-test and post-test questions. The results of the study showed the percentage of knowledge levels before counseling, namely, none had a good category, 18 students were in the sufficient category (47.37%), 20 students were in the less category (52.63%), and after counseling all students obtained a good category (100%). The average value of students' knowledge levels before counseling was (54.34) with a less category, and after counseling (88.82) with a good category. The conclusion of the results of this study is the frequency of the level of knowledge before counseling is 20 students (52.63%) with less criteria and after counseling increased to (100%) with good criteria.
