Abstract

DESCRIPTION OF HEMOGLOBIN LEVELS IN ADOLESCENT WOMEN IN SMA NEGERI 1 PENEBEL ABSTRACT Background: In general, young women have irregular and unhealthy eating habits. Among other things are not eating breakfast, lack of iron intake, such as lack of interest in taking tablets or iron tablets, irregular sleeping patterns or staying up late, then irregular or abnormal menstrual cycles. So young women cannot meet the diversity of nutrients needed by the body for the synthesis of hemoglobin formation. If this happens for a long time it will cause hemoglobin levels to continue to decrease and cause anemia. Objective: To find out the description of hemoglobin levels in young women at SMA Negeri 1 Penebel. Methods: Research using descriptive research with a purposive sampling technique. The sample used was 49 female students. Examination of hemoglobin levels using the POCT tool.
