Abstract

DESCRIPTION OF URIC ACID LEVELS IN ELDERLY AT SUSUT COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTER I BANGLI REGENCY BALI PROVINCE ABSTRACT Elderly people experience changes in the structure and function of cells,tissues and organ systems that occur in their bodies. One of them is that the kidney function is to filter the body's metabolic products in the blood and will remove unnecessary metabolic products, so that if this organ decreases, uric acid levels will increase. The aim of the research was to determine the description of uric acid levels in the elderly at the Susut I Community Health Center,Bangli Regency Bali. The type of research used is descriptive research using non-probability sampling techniques using purposive sampling. Measurement of uric acid levels using the POCT method. The results showed that of 43 elderly people,7 people (16.3%) had low uric acid levels,16 people (37.2%) had normal uric acid levels and 20 people (46.5%) had high uric acid levels. . The results obtained were high uric acid levels in the elderly or elderly category (60 – 74 years) as many as 11 people (25.6%), as many as 11 people (25.6%) in the male gender,and in the obesity BMI category as many as 12 people (27.9%). It can be concluded that the majority of elderly respondents have high uric acid levels. Keywords : Elderly, Uric Acid GAMBARAN KADAR ASAM URAT PADA LANJUT USIA DI PUSKESMAS SUSUT 1 KABUPATEN BANGLI PROVINSI BALI ABSTRAK Lansia mengalami perubahan struktur dan fungsi sel, jaringan, dan sistem organ terjadi di dalam tubuhnya. Salah satunya adalah organ ginjal berfungsi untuk menyaring hasil metabolisme tubuh yang berada dalam darah dan akan membuang hasil metabolisme yang tidak diperlukan, sehingga jika organ tersebut mengalami penurunan terjadilah peningkatan kadar asam urat. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui gambaran kadar asam urat pada lansia di Puskesmas Susut I Kabupaten Bangli-Bali. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan teknik sampling non probability secara purposive sampling. Pengukuran kadar asam urat menggunakan metode POCT. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pada 43 lansia sebanyak 7 orang (16,3%) memiliki kadar asam urat rendah, sebanyak 16 orang (37,2%) memiliki kadar asam urat normal dan sebanyak 20 orang (46,5%) memiliki kadar asam urat tinggi. Diperoleh hasil kadar asam urat tinggi pada usia kategori lanjut usia atau elderly (60 – 74 tahun) sebanyak 11 orang (25,6%), jenis kelamin laki-laki sebanyak 11 orang (25,6%), dan pada kategori IMT obesitas sebanyak 12 orang (27,9%). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa sebagian besar responden lansia memiliki kadar asam urat tinggi. Kata Kunci: lansia, asam urat
