Abstract
Implementation of the waste bank program according to Law no. 1 of 1970 concerning Work Safety, states that every worker has the right to receive safety protection in carrying out their work for their welfare and increasing their productivity by using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when working. The aim of this research is to determine the level of knowledge and behavior in using personal protective equipment for waste bank officers in Buruan Village, Penebel District, Tabanan Regency in 2024. The type of research planned includes analytical research. Analytical research is research that does not just describe research variables but also correlates the level of knowledge and behavior in using personal protective equipment for waste bank officers in Buruan Village with a sample of all waste bank officers carried out in February-May 2024. Data collection uses questionnaires, interviews and Observations and results will be analyzed univariately and bivariately using the chi-square test. From the results of the analysis, it was found that the two variables, the level of knowledge and behavior of waste bank officers, had a relationship.
