Abstract

Unwanted pregnancy is one of the reproductive health problems. The purpose of the study was to determine the description of knowledge and attitudes of adolescents about premarital sex education at SMA Negeri 2 Mengwi Badung, a sample of 130 class X students. Descriptive quantitative research with cross-sectional design. Implementation in February - March 2024 at SMA Negeri 2 Mengwi Badung with proportional random sampling technique. Research instruments questionnaire knowledge and attitudes of adolescents about premarital sex education, data analysis using univariate in the form of frequency distribution. The results showed that most students had good knowledge about premarital sex education, namely 119 respondents (91.5%) and most students had a positive attitude about premarital sex education as many as 128 respondents (98.5%). The conclusion of the study shows that the description of knowledge and attitudes of adolescents about premarital sex education at SMA Negeri 2 Mengwi (Dwisma) has good knowledge and positive attitudes. Schools are advised to hold periodic counseling activities on premarital sex education. Keywords: Knowledge; Attitude; Premarital Sex Education
