Abstract

DESCRIPTION OF THE DURATION OF MENSTRUATION AND HEMOGLOBIN LEVELS IN ADOLESCENT GIRLS IN BUNGAYA VILLAGE, BEBANDEM DISTRICT, KARANGASEM ABSTRACT Background : one of the factors that can affect hemoglobin levels is the length of menstruation experienced by adolescent girls. Adolescent girls who have a long menstrual period will experience anemia as much as 79.3%, this condition is caused by the amount of blood that comes out and the length of menstruation. Purpose : to describe the duration of menstruation and hemoglobin levels in adolescent girls in Bungaya Village, Bebandem District, Karangasem. Method : the type of research used is descriptive research using probability sampling technique with simple random sampling. The sample used was 41 adolescent girls obtained from interviews and the results of measuring hemoglobin levels using the POCT method. Result : that almost all adolescent girls have normal hemoglobin levels with normal menstrual duration. Conclusion : adolescent girls with an age range of 18-21 years have normal hemoglobin levels with a percentage of 39.02%, adolescent girls have normal hemoglobin levels and are obedient to taking blood boost tablets with a percentage of 58.53%, and adolescent girls have normal hemoglobin levels with normal menstrual duration, the percentage is 78.04% Key words : menstruation; hemoglobin; adolescent girls GAMBARAN LAMANYA MENSTRUASI DAN KADAR HEMOGLOBIN PADA REMAJA PUTRI DI DESA BUNGAYA, KECAMATAN BEBANDEM, KARANGASEM ABSTRAK Latar belakang : Salah satu faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi kadar hemoglobin adalah lamanya menstruasi yang dialami oleh remaja putri. Remaja putri yang memiliki rentang waktu menstruasi panjang akan mengalami anemia sebanyak 79,3%, kondisi ini disebabkan oleh banyaknya darah yang keluar dan lamanya menstruasi. Tujuan : untuk mengetahui gambaran lamanya menstruasi dan kadar hemoglobin pada remaja putri di Desa Bungaya, Kecamatan Bebandem, Karangasem. Metode : jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan teknik probability sampling secara simple random sampling. Sampel yang digunakan adalah 41 remaja putri yang diperoleh dari wawancara dan hasil pengukuran kadar hemoglobin metode POCT. Hasil : hampir seluruh remaja putri dengan rentang usia 18-21 tahun memiliki kadar hemoglobin normal. Kesimpulan : remaja putri dengan rentang usia 18-21 tahun memiliki kadar hemoglobin normal dengan persentase 39,02%, remaja putri memiliki kadar hemoglobin normal dan patuh mengonsumsi tablet tambah darah dengan persentase 58,53%, serta remaja putri memiliki kadar hemoglobin normal dengan lama menstruasi normal, persentase 78,04%.
