Abstract
THE DESCRIPTION OF NON-FASTING GLUCOSE TEST IN THE SECOND AND THIRD TRIMEST PREGNANTCY WOMEN AT PUSKESMAS I DENPASAR SELATAN ABSTRAC Background: Gestational Diabetes Mellitus (GDM) is a pregnancy accompanied by an increase in insulin resistance resulting in hyperglycemia. Purpose: This research aims to determine the description of non-fasting glucose test in the II and III trimesters of pregnant women at Puskesmas I Denpasar Selatan. Methods: This research was conducted by descriptive method with data was collected using a non-probability sampling method in the form of purposive sampling based on the exclusion and inclusion criteria of research with a sample of 31 respondents during of May 2022. Measurement of glucose levels using the POCT method. Results: The results of the research from 31 respondents obtained that most of the respondents in the uncertain DM category were 23 respondents (74.18%). Based on the characteristics, in the risk age category (<20 and >35 years) there were 11 respondents (35.5%), in the third trimester of pregnancy there were 13 respondents (41.9%), in the second trimester category there were 10 respondents (32 .3%), the category of having a history of DM was 5 respondents (16.1%), and the obesity status in the obesity category was 2 respondents (6.5%) and the more category was 5 respondents (16.1%). Conclusion: The conclusion of the study stated that most of the pregnant women in the second and third trimesters at Puskesmas I, South Denpasar, had non-fasting glucose levels in the category of uncertain DM with an average level of 111 mg/dL. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran kadar glukosa darah sewaktu pada ibu hamil trimester II dan III di Puskesmas I Denpasar Selatan. Metode: Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode deskriptif. Pengambilan data penelitian dilakukan dengan metode non probability sampling berupa purposive sampling berdasarkan kriteria eksklusi dan inklusi responden penelitian dengan besar sampel 31 responden selama bulan mei 2022. Pengukuran kadar glukosa darah dengan metode POCT. Hasil: Hasil penelitian dari 31 responden diperoleh sebagian besar responden pada kategori belum pasti DM sebanyak 23 responden (74,18%) menunjukan berdasarkan karakteristi bahwa pada kategori umur berisiko (<20 dan >35 tahun) sebanyak 11 responden (35,5%), pada usia kehamilan kategori trimester III sebanyak 13 responden (41,9%), pada kategori trimester II sebanyak 10 responden (32,3%), kategori adanya riwayat DM sebanyak 5 responden (16,1%), serta pada status obesitas kategori obesitas sebanyak 2 responden (6,5%) dan kategori lebih sebanyak 5 responden (16,1%). Kesimpulan: Kesimpullan pada penelitian menyatakan sebagian besar ibu hamil trimester II dan III di Puskesmas I Denpasar Selatan memiliki kadar glukosa darah sewaktu kategori belum pasti DM dengan rata-rata kadar yaitu 111 mg/dL.
