Abstract

A DESCRIPTIVE STUDY OF PROTEINURIA AMONG PREGNANT WOMEN IN PUSKESMAS I DENPASAR SELATAN ABSTRACT Proteinuria in pregnant women is a condition where the amount of protein in the urine increases. Proteinuria in pregnant women is used to identifies the symptoms of preeclampsia, besides hypertension and edema. Untreated preeclampsia can cause complications in pregnant women such as eclampsia, placental abruption, organ damage to maternal and fetal death. This study aims at describing the proteinuria in the pregnant women in the Puskesmas I Denpasar Selatan. This research applied a descriptive study with cross sectional design. The amount of sampels taken was using non probability sampling method with accidental sampling technique where the samples collected from 31 respondents during the period of April to Mei 2022. The collected urine samples were then examined using the dipstick method. Results of the examination to 31 samples indicates that 11 urine samples (35,5%) was positive and 20 urine samples (64,5%) was negative. Positive proteinuria levels were found in respondents in the risk age group (9,7%), found in the 3^rd trimester of pregnancy (19,3%), nulliparous parity (16,1%) and in pregnant women with low blood pressure positive proteinuria was not found. Keywords: pregnant women; proteinuria; urine GAMBARAN PROTEINURIA PADA IBU HAMIL DI PUSKESMAS I DENPASAR SELATAN ABSTRAK Proteinuria pada ibu hamil adalah keadaan dimana jumlah protein dalam urine meningkat. Proteinuria pada ibu hamil digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi gejala preeklamsia, selain hipertensi dan edema. Preeklamsia yang tidak diobati dapat menyebabkan komplikasi pada ibu hamil seperti eklampsia, solusio plasenta, kerusakan organ hingga kematian ibu dan janin. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran proteinuria pada ibu hamil di Puskesmas I Denpasar Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan desain cross sectional. Jumlah sampel yang diambil menggunakan metode non probability sampling dengan teknik accidental sampling dimana dikumpulkan dari 31 responden selama periode April sampai Mei 2022. Sampel urine yang telah dukumpulkan kemudian diperiksa dengan menggunakan metode carik celup. Hasil penelitian terhadap 31 sampel menunjukkan bahwa 11 sampel urine (35,5%) positif proteinuria dan 20 sampel urine (64,5%) negatif proteinuria. Kadar proteinuria positif ditemukan pada responden kelompok usia beresiko (9,7%), usia kehamilan trimester 3 (19,3%), paritas nulipara (16,1%) dan pada ibu hamil dengan tekanan darah rendah tidak ditemukan proteinuria positif.
