Abstract
THE DESCRIPTION OF TOTAL CHOLESTEROL CONTAIN FOR HYPERTENSION AT PUSKESMAS 1 KEDIRI, TABANAN REGENCY ABSTRACT Hypertension is closely related to total cholesterol levels. The increased of total cholesterol levels are experienced by many people with hypertension and high total cholesterol levels in addition to causing hypertension can also exacerbate hypertension. This study aims to determine the total cholesterol level in patients with hypertension at Puskesmas 1 Kediri, Tabanan Regency. This study was conducted from January to May 2022 on hypertension patients aged more than 45 years with a total sample of 44 respondent. This study method was non-probability techniques using purposive sampling. The results showed that 22 respondents or half of the respondents had total cholesterol levels at the upper limit and there were 13 respondents (30%) had high total cholesterol levels. Respondents with the highest total cholesterol levels came from the age group 56-60 years and mostly were female. The conclusion of this study is that the increase in cholesterol levels occurs with increasing age and is predominantly experienced by women. Keywords: Hypertension; Total cholesterol GAMBARAN KADAR KOLESTEROL TOTAL PADA PENDERITA HIPERTENSI DI PUSKESMAS 1 KEDIRI KABUPATEN TABANAN ABSTRAK Hipertensi berhubungan erat dengan kadar kolesterol total. Peningkatan kadar kolesterol total banyak dialami oleh penderita hipertensi dan kadar kolesterol total tinggi selain dapat menimbulkan hipertensi juga dapat memperparah hipertensi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kadar kolesterol total pada penderita hipertensi di Puskesmas 1 Kediri Kabupaten Tabanan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dari bulan Januari-Mei 2022 pada penderita hipertensi yang berumur lebih dari 45 tahun dengan jumlah sampel 44 orang. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan teknik non probability dengan menggunakan purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat 22 responden aatau setengah dari jumlah responden memiliki kadar kolesterol total pada batas atas dan ada 13 responden (30%) responden yang memiliki kadar kolesterol total tinggi. Responden dengan kadar kolesterol total tinggi terbanyak berasal dari kelompok umur 56-60 tahun dan berjenis kelamin perempuan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah peningkatan kadar kolesterol terjadi seiring dengan bertambahnya usia dan dominan dialami perempuan. Kata kunci: Hipertensi; Kolesterol Total
