Abstract
THE RELATIONSHIP OF MATERNAL EDUCATION LEVEL AND SUCCESS OF EARLY INITIATION OF BREASTFEEDING (IMD) WITH EXCLUSIVE BREAST FEEDING IN THE REGION UPT KESMAS SUKAWATI II ABSTRACT The purpose of national development is the improvement of the quality of human resources (HR) is done in a sustainable way. Efforts in improving the quality of human resources (HR) started the baby by giving Exclusive Breast Milk during the first six months. ASI is Exclusive breast milk containing nutrients optimally, both quality and quantity. Achievement of Exclusive Breast Milk is influenced by education and Insiaisi Breastfeeding early. Education is a study to improve knowledge. Inisiai Nursing baby suckle is a process of Early soon after being born, where the baby was left searching for his mother's own nipple (not led to the nipple). The purpose of this research is to know the mother's level of education and relationship success Early Breastfeeding Initiation (IMD) with Exclusive breast feeding in the region Kesmas UPT Sukawati II. This research was conducted in the region Kesmas UPT Sukawati Gianyar Regency II, Bali province in may 2018. Types of research including research with cross sectional obeservasional. The population of the research was the whole mothers who have children aged 7-24 months. The number of samples as the research unit by as much as 32 people. Research of sampling technique using simple random sampling. Research data includes the mother's level of education, the success of Insiasi Breastfeeding (IMD) Early and Exclusive breast feeding. Data retrieval is done with the interview guide with a detailed questionnaire. Processing and analysis of data using the chi square test and in deskriftifkan. From the analysis undertaken retrieved results coverage of exclusive breast feeding as much as 62.5%, the level of education of the mother as much as 47% belongs to the level of secondary education and the success of the Insiasi Early Breastfeeding (IMD) as much as 68.75%. The analysis shows that there is no relation with education level of exclusive breast feeding, there is a connection between the success of the Insiasi Early Breastfeeding (IMD) with Exclusive breast feeding and there is a relationship between the type of work mother with breast feeding Exclusive. HUBUNGAN TINGKAT PENDIDIKAN IBU DAN KEBERHASILAN INISIASI MENYUSUI DINI (IMD) DENGAN PEMBERIAN ASI EKSKLUSIF DI WILAYAH KERJA UPT KESMAS SUKAWATI II ABSTRAK Tujuan pembangunan nasional adalah peningkatan kualitas sumber daya manusia (SDM) yang dilakukan secara berkelanjutan. Usaha dalam meningkatkan kualitas sumber daya manusia (SDM) dimulai sejak bayi dengan memberikan ASI Ekkslusif selama enam bulan pertama. ASI Eksklusif adalah air susu ibu yang mengandung nutrisi optimal , baik kualitas dan kuantitasnya. Pencapaian ASI Eksklusif dipengaruhi oleh pendidikan dan Insiaisi Menyusui Dini. Pendidikan merupakan suatu pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan. Inisiai Menyusui Dini adalah proses bayi menyusu segera setelah dilahirkan, dimana bayi dibiarkan mencari puting susu ibunya sendiri (tidak dituntun ke puting susu). Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat pendidikan ibu dan keberhasilan Inisiasi Menyusui Dini (IMD) dengan pemberian ASI Eksklusif di wilayah kerja UPT Kesmas Sukawati II. Penelitian ini dilakukan di wilayah kerja UPT Kesmas Sukawati II Kabupaten Gianyar, Provinsi Bali pada bulan Mei 2018. Jenis penelitian termasuk penelitian obeservasional dengan rancangan cross sectional. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh ibu yang memiliki anak berusia 7-24 bulan. Jumlah sampel sebagai unit penelitian sebanyak 32 orang. Pengambilan sampel penelitian menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Data penelitian meliputi tingkat pendidikan ibu, keberhasilan Insiasi Menyusui Dini (IMD) dan pemberian ASI Eksklusif. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan wawancara dengan panduan kuisioner. Pengolahan dan analisis data menggunakan uji chi square dan di deskriftifkan. Dari analisis yang dilakukan diperoleh hasil cakupan pemberian ASI Eksklusif sebanyak 62,5%, tingkat pendidikan ibu sebanyak 47% tergolong tingkat pendidikan menengah dan keberhasilan Insiasi Menyusui Dini (IMD) sebanyak 68,75%. Analisis menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada hubungan tingkat pendidikan dengan pemberian ASI Eksklusif, ada hubungan antara keberhasilan Insiasi Menyusui Dini (IMD) dengan pemberian ASI Eksklusif dan ada hubungan antara jenis pekerjaan ibu dengan pemberian ASI Eksklusif.
