Abstract
OVERVIEW OF THE IMPLEMENTATION OF IRON SUPPLEMENTATION PROGRAM FOR STUDENTS AT JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL 4 TABANAN ABSTRACT Anemia is a medical condition where the number of red blood cells or hemoglobin is less than normal, one way to deal with anemia is that the government has implemented a program of supplementation iron suplement for young women. The TTD program is a program from the government, both held for the APND and APBN and distributed to target groups through government health service facilities. This observation aims to find out how the description of the implementation of blood-added tablet supplementation (TTD) in female students at SMP Negeri 4 Tabanan. This type of observation includes observational using a cross sectional design, the scope of this observation is the knowledge, attitude and implementation of the TTD program which are collected in one unit at the same time. Observation subjects are aged 13-17 years. The results of the observation of knowledge showed that the knowledge of students regarding the TTD program was in the good category (100%) because all subjects answered correctly all the questions that had been asked. All students have a positive and supportive attitude and participate in the TTD program. All students have implemented the TTD program according to the recommendations that have been set. It is hoped that UKS can implement all existing health programs in schools through the role of Osis to continue to assist in supporting the implementation of the iron supplementation program in schools.
