Abstract

DESCRIPTION OF ANXIETY IN THE ELDERLY WITH ACUPRESSURE THERAPY IN THE UPT WORK ARE BANGLI HEALTH CENTER IN 2022 ABSTRACT The elderly or the elderly are the age group 60 years and over, which begin to experience a decrease in body function so that the elderly are easy to experience health problems that cause anxiety. Acupressure is a massage technique on acupoints that can provide a feeling of calm so as to reduce anxiety. The purpose of this study was to determine the description of anxiety in the elderly with acupressure therapy in the Work Area of UPT Puskesmas Bangli 1 in 2022. This study was a quantitative study using a purposive sampling technique as many as 40 elderly people. From the results of this study, the majority of the elderly aged 60-65 years were as many as 25 people (62.5%), based on the educational history of the majority of SMA/SLTA as many as 25 people (62.5%), and based on the work of the majority of housewives as many as 12 people. (30%). Based on the description of anxiety in the elderly with acupressure therapy, the majority of respondents experienced mild anxiety, as many as 27 people (67.5%) it can be concluded that anxiety in the elderly with acupressure therapy was in the mild category. Based on these results, it is expected that the provision of acupressure to the elderly can be given regularly to reduce the level of anxiety in the elderly. GAMBARAN ANSIETAS PADA LANSIA DENGAN TERAPI AKUPRESURE DI WILAYAH KERJA UPT PUSKESMAS BANGLI 1 TAHUN 2022 ABSTRAK Lanjut usia atau lansia adalah kelompok umur 60 tahun , dimana mulai mengalami penurunan fungsi tubuh sehingga lansia mudah mengalami gangguan kesehatan yang menyebabkan kecemasan. Akupresur adalah tehnik pemijatan pada titik-titik acupoint yang dapat memberikan perasaan tenang sehingga mampu mengurangi kecemasan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini mengetahui gambaran ansietas pada lansia dengan terapi akupresure di Wilayah Kerja UPT Puskesmas Bangli 1 tahun 2022. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling sebanyak 40 orang lansia. Dari hasil penelitian ini diperoleh umur lansia mayoritas 60-65 tahun yaitu sebanyak 25 orang (62,5%), berdasarkan riwayat pendidikan mayoritas SMA/SLTA sebanyak 25 orang (62,5%), dan berdasarkan pekerjaan mayoritas ibu rumah tangga sebanyak 12 orang (30%). Berdasarkan gambaran ansietas pada lansia dengan terapi akupresure didapatkan hasil mayoritas responden mengalami ansietas ringan yaitu sebanyak 27 orang (67,5%) maka dapat disimpulkan ansietas pada lansia dengan terapi akupresure kategori ringan. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut diharapkan pemberian akupresur pada lansia dapat diberikan secara rutin untuk mengurangi tingkat kecemasan lansia. Kata kunci : Lansia, Akupresur dan Ansietas.
