Abstract

DESCRIPTION OF KNOWLEDGE LEVEL ABOUT DENTAL AND ORAL HEALTH IN YOUTH SMOKERS IN VILLAGE DASAN LIAN NORTH AIKMEL IN 2022 ABSTRACT The high prevalence of smoking behavior in the home is due to the difficulty of avoiding smoking habits and the low level of public understanding about the dangers of smoking. NTB Province is known to have a population aged 10 years who smoke every day at 63.1% and most of them smoke indoors when they gather with other family members. This study aims to determine the level of knowledge about dental and oral health of adolescent smokers in Dusun Dasan Lian Aikmel Utara in 2022. This type of research is a descriptive research with a survey design with a total of 30 respondents. The results showed that the highest percentage of knowledge about dental and oral health in adolescent smokers was in the less category as many as 16 people (53.33%). The average value of the highest level of knowledge of adolescent smokers is: 82.5 in the good category. The highest average knowledge value based on the education of adolescent smokers, namely: 62.5 at the high school level. the highest average knowledge value based on the age of adolescent smokers, namely: 66.87 at the age of 18. It can be concluded that: Of the 30 respondents studied, the most were at the age of 17 years, amounting to 13 people and most of the adolescent smokers in Dusun Dasan Lian Aikmel North in 2022 has a level of knowledge about dental and oral health in the category of less. GAMBARAN TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN TENTANG KESEHATAN GIGI DAN MULUT PADA REMAJA PEROKOK DI DUSUN DASAN LIAN AIKMEL UTARA TAHUN 2022 ABSTRAK Tingginya prevalensi perilaku merokok di dalam rumah disebabkan sulitnya menghindari kebiasaan merokok dan masih rendahnya pemahaman masyarakat tentang bahaya akibat merokok. Provinsi NTB diketahui penduduk umur ≥ 10 tahun yang merokok pada setiap harinya sebesar 63,1% dan sebagian besar merokok di dalam rumah ketika berkumpul dengan anggota keluarga lainnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat pengetahuan tentang kesehatan gigi dan mulut pada remaja perokok di Dusun Dasan Lian Aikmel Utara Tahun 2022. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penilitian deskriptif dengan disain survei dengan jumlah responde 30 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persentase paling tinggi Tingkat Pengetahuan Tentang Kesehatan Gigi dan Mulut pada Remaja Perokok yaitu dengan kategori kurang sebanyak 16 orang (53,33%). Nilai rata-rata tingkat pengetahuan paling tinggi remaja perokok yaitu: 82,5 pada kategori baik. Nilai rata-rata pengetahuan paling tinggi berdasarkan pendidikan remaja perokok yaitu: 62,5 pada tingkat SMA. Nilai rata-rata pengetahuan paling tinggi berdasarkan umur remaja perokok yaitu: 66,87 pada umur 18. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa: Dari 30 responden yang diteliti paling banyak berada pada usia 17 tahun yang berjumlah 13 orang dan sebagian besar remaja perokok di Dusun Dasan Lian Aikmel Utara Tahun 2022 memiliki tingkat pengetahuan tentang kesehatan gigi dan mulut dengan kategori kurang.
