Abstract

KNOWLEDGE, ATTITUDE, AVAILABILITY AND LEVEL OF VEGETABLE AND FRUIT CONSUMPTION IN STUDENT SDN 10 PADANG SAMBIAN DENPASAR PROVINCE OF BALI ABSTRACT According to the 2010 basic evaluation, there were still many people who did not consume enough vegetables and fruits. The 2013 basic data showed that as many as 93,5% of the population aged> 10 years consumed vegetables and fruit under the competition. The results of the Denpasar city food consumption survey in 2016 consumption of vegetables is still below the expectation food pattern (30%) and 2017 is still below the expectation food pattern. The pupose of the study was to find out the knowledge, attitudes of the availability of vegetables and fruits in the household and in the canteen, the level of consumption of vegetables and fruit in students SDN 10 Padang Sambian. This type of research was observational with a cross sectional design data collection method conducted by interview. The population is all students in SDN 10 Padang Sambian, sampel in class v based on purposive. The results of the study addressed the students knowledge about vegetables and fruits mostly good (96.6% quite (3.4%) attitudes of students- towards consumption and fruity partially large, namely, (93.2%) enough 1%) less a 7%) the availability of vegetables and fruits in the household, savory often 93.2%) rarely (37.3) not available (3.4) and fruits available often (61.4%) rarely 6%. Availability vegetables and fruit in the canteen available every day level of glazed consumption of students of SDN 10 Padang Sambian is enough (119%) less 88,1%. While the levelof fruit consumption is enough (88,1%). It is recommended for students to consume vegetables and fruits according to the consumptions and need to do counseling in the form of movements or action to eat vegetables and fruit regularly.
